Kota :--Kotah achieved de facto independence from Bundi in 1624 C.E. when RaoRatan Singh of Bundi’s second son — RaoMadho Singh — asserted sovereignity over Kotah City and eight surrounding districts (parganas). Seven years later in 1631 C.E., the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan issued an Imperial proclamation (farman) confirming Kotah’s independence. Madho Singh’s descendants continued to rule Kotah — often in the service of the Mughal and British Empires — until 1948 C.E. when the Kingdom formally merged with independent India. Today, the City Palace remains at the heart of the ceremonial life of present MaharaoBrijraj Singh of Kotah who presides at religious festivals and social gatherings here throughout the year — most importantly at Dasahra and on his birthday

Day2 : After Break fast drive to Bundi
After Break fast drive to Bundi for full day excursion (38 Kota 1 Hrs drive) . In ancient times, the area around Bundi was apparently inhabited by various local tribes, of which the Parihar Meenas were prominent. Bundi and the eponymous princely stateare said to derive their names from a former Meena king called Mananshrestha. Bundi was previously called “Bunda-Ka-Nal", Nal meaning “narrow ways”. Bundi is situated in a narrow valley within the Aravalli Hills in Rajasthan. Later the region was governed by Rao Deva Hada, who took over Bundi from JaitaMeena in 1240, renaming the surrounding area Haravati or Haroti.
Sightseeing included :-- Tara Garh Palace, Old city walk, Rani Ji Ki Baori, SukhMahal Chorasi Khambho ki Chatri.
Lunch at Bundi. After sightseeing drive back to Kota. O/N at Hotel.
Day3 : After Break fast drive to explore Forest are of Kota.
After Break fast drive to explore Forest are of Kota. Including :--Boat Safari in River Chambal. Chambal River is lifeline of South-East Rajasthan . Walking along its banks is mother of all adventures. A tiny stream at its source in Vindhyan mountain ranges it transforms in to a mighty force in plains, fed by its many tributaries. Chambal River enters the high rising cliffs of Great Boundary Fault between Aravail and Vindhyan mountains at Gandhisagar, intermittently unfolding its beauty in the open areas.
Lunch at Kota. Later drive to Badoli temples (45 Kms from Kota).
Drive Back to Kota.O/N at at Kota Hotel.

After breakfast Check out from Hotel with memorable memories of trip.
